Teaching

Teaching is important, but not at the expense of training. The need for personalized training in the kingdom of God remains high while opportunities for specialized, accessible, relevant, training can remain relatively low. Teaching speaks to the need for evangelism, apologetics, preaching and mentoring but training takes things to a whole new level.

Training incorporates the use of personal assessment tools, role-playing, cohort development, peer feedback and debriefing. Training, creates opportunities to participate in preaching, teaching, counseling and evangelistic clinics. Teaching highlights important things like “faith”, training engages in the necessary “works” that flow out of faith. (James 2:17)
