WHAT IS LIFEPOINTS?

       Since the advent of social media and its inherent marketing power, so many people now have a small in-home business or even a ministry. Usually, a web-based business or ministry comes with a self-made website, a platform strategy, and a product or service to sell.

       It seems like there are far more consultants than ever before. Life coaches abound. People want to grow. Many people are seeking to provide answers to problems, more efficient ways of getting ahead, or just wanting to matter in a world sometimes indifferent.

       In the middle of such a “movement”, I too formed a ministry; Lifepoints. A few years ago, I started playing around with the idea of looking for points where truth intersects everyday life. I produced hundreds of short videos on almost every subject looking for the intersection of truth with everyday life. Topics varied from Seasonal Affect Disorder, renaissance art, Islam, apologetics, dissecting the lyrics on the Wall album by Pink Floyd, and nearly everything in between.    https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=gary+hewins

       The video content was pushed and boosted internationally. I particularly enjoyed the responses of Saudi Arabian men to videos regarding the relationship between depression and pornography. There is no mental health care to speak of in Saudi Arabia, and the men there are asking for more and more information.

       Now, years later, Lifepoints is intensifying. The videos will continue but so too will online course content, online and face to face consultation, as well as intensive weekends on Five Apple Farm in the beautiful mountains of Highlands, NC.
